A day dedicated to samba rock

Samba-Rock Day is a celebration set on August 31 in São Paulo. This date was established in April 2016 by a law enacted by the Legislative Assembly. The choice of this specific day pays tribute to the birth anniversary of the musician Jackson do Pandeiro.
