The day Raymond Domenech ran across the entire pitch to score

Raymond Domenech is a left-back who distinguished himself with a memorable offensive feat in 1978 against Lille OSC. Jeered by the crowd due to his rough reputation and a violent tackle, he drew unexpected motivation from these boos. He thus recovered the ball in his own half before dribbling across the entire pitch and scoring the winning goal 2-1.
