A suburban railway line that only received goods

The Saint-Cloud to Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche line has always experienced very unbalanced freight traffic. In 1893, the five combined stations of this track located in a residential suburb shipped only 2,500 tons of goods while receiving 63,000 tons. The Garches station concentrated most of this activity by receiving 40,336 tons of goods alone that same year.
