Church doors are sculpted with texts and riddles

The leaves of the central portal of the Sagrada Família are covered with two thousand raised letters from the Gospels according to Saint Matthew and Saint John. These inscriptions highlight golden passages such as Pontius Pilate's question about truth. The north portal incorporates a reproduction of the polygon engraved in the work Melencolia I by Albrecht Dürer.
