The Tête-d'Or park dairy became a big cat house

The dairy of the Tête-d'Or park became a big cat house after the closure of its milk production in 1919. The premises were renovated from 1922 to 1924 to house cages on the east facade of the main building. An adjoining enclosure also welcomed the elephant Loulou, an animal originating from Indochina who lived for 15 years in the Lyon park.
