An 8-0 defeat precipitates Hull City towards relegation

Hull City is an English football club that experienced a catastrophic 2019-2020 season. After a decent start to the year, the team collapsed from the month of January onwards due in particular to the departure of its star player Jarrod Bowen to West Ham. The climax of this fall was reached on 14 July 2020 with an 8-0 thrashing inflicted by Wigan, leading the club straight towards League One.
