A giant bass bombarde measuring one and a half meters

The Bagad Melinerion integrated a new type of bass bombarde measuring 1.50 m in 2014. This section of bombardes was enriched over time with the appearance of tenor and bass bombardes in the 1980s. The association Bodadeg ar Sonerion then imposed a minimum of five bombardes in B flat for competitions in 2017.
