Doctors examined the Cagots in 1600

The Cagots were a population rejected because of numerous unfounded physical and moral prejudices. On June 13, 1600, twenty-two of them were examined by doctors mandated by the Parliament of Toulouse. The practitioners concluded at the end of this examination that they were completely free of any pathology.
