The turbulent birth of Patrick Dewaere

Patrick Dewaere is a French actor from a family of artists. His mother, Mado Maurin, led a troupe with her first husband while having an affair with the conductor Michel Têtard, who refused to believe in his paternity and broke up by telegram. The child was thus born on Sunday, January 26, 1947, in Saint-Brieuc before officially receiving the surname of another of his mother's companions, Pierre-Marie Bourdeaux.
