Merchants preferred the Étainhus station

The Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc tramway saw the tonnage of its transported goods fall from 7,000 tons at the beginning of the century to a little over 1,000 tons at the end of the first decade. This drop was explained by the transshipment costs and the high taxes of the tramway. Local merchants therefore preferred to pick up their parcels directly at the Étainhus station.
