Prehistoric tombs were sacrificed for roads

The Mallée site possessed two tumuli which were destroyed at the beginning of the 20th century in order to recover the stones to pave the roads. These probable ancient tombs were thus annihilated without having been the subject of prior excavations. This irremediable destruction occurred in the commune of Saint-Quentin-sur-Indrois.
