An Olympic delegation reduced to a single person

San Marino participates in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver with a single representative. This alpine skier, Marino Cardelli, also assumes the role of flag bearer during the opening ceremony. He finishes 80th in his only event, the giant slalom, without bringing a medal to his country.
