A painting by Hieronymus Bosch was stolen and then recovered

The Conjurer is a painting by the painter Hieronymus Bosch dated between 1496 and 1502 and kept in the collections of the municipal museum of art and history. This oil on wood was stolen on December 1, 1978 before being found two months later. The work was then placed in a safe place, while the museum has been closed since 1979.
