An anti-flood plan for only two houses
The Veyle downstream flood risk prevention plan was adopted on July 22, 2011 by Philippe Galli, prefect of the Ain, to protect several municipalities. It is based on the reference flood of the Veyle watershed that occurred on October 3 and 4, 1935. Simulations reveal that such a flood would affect only two dwellings in the entire territory of Saint-Cyr-sur-Menthon, namely its two mills.
