Rocky Mountain goats have reconquered Mount Saint Helens

The Rocky Mountain goat is a large mammal that populates the upper slopes of Mount Saint Helens once again. This population had nevertheless been totally eradicated during the 1980 eruption. It has since managed to regain its natural habitat on the mountain.
