The future emperor distinguishes himself by the capture of Toulon in 1793

Napoleon I launches his military career during the siege of Toulon in 1793. After obtaining command of the artillery, he captures the English general Charles O'Hara on November 23. His attack plan finally allows the city to be retaken from royalist and British troops on December 18.
