Admiral Darlan's assassin was a young resistance fighter

Fernand Bonnier de La Chapelle is a French anti-Vichy resistance fighter. On December 24, 1942, he assassinated Admiral François Darlan in Algiers. His action led to his death sentence and the execution took place on December 26, 1942.
