Just Fontaine holds the all-time record for goals in a single World Cup

Just Fontaine is the former footballer who holds the all-time record of thirteen goals scored during a single World Cup final tournament. Initially a substitute, he took advantage of his teammates' injuries to establish himself as a starter during the 1958 tournament in Sweden.
