Four out of ten young people have an immigrant parent in Paris in 2005

In 2005 in Paris, 41.3% of minors had at least one parent born abroad. This proportion is explained by the successive migratory waves that have affected the capital since the nineteenth century. Among these young people, 12.1% were from North Africa and 9.9% came from sub-Saharan Africa.
