Pollution kills thousands of Parisians every year

Air pollution is responsible for the death of thousands of inhabitants in the French capital. According to the Observatoire régional de santé, this scourge causes the disappearance of 6,600 Parisians each year. Large cities frequently experience pollution peaks due to non-compliance with standards for ozone and five other pollutants.
