A radio airplay record for Shakira

Hips Don't Lie is the most played pop song in a single week on American radio stations. Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems certifies that it was played exactly 9,637 times during this period. This track also allowed Shakira to be the first artist to simultaneously top the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 and Latin Chart.
