Jean-Luc Mélenchon is targeted by a complaint for apology of terrorism

Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a French politician and leader of La France insoumise, questioned the terrorist classification of the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023. He made these remarks during a rally organized in June 2026 in front of the Paris court to support the activist Anasse Kazib, who was being prosecuted for apology of terrorism. Following this stance where he considered that the form of resistance is a matter that can be discussed, three French survivors filed a complaint against him.
