Gillette offered one million dollars to shave ZZ Top

ZZ Top is a rock band whose members Gibbons and Hill sport an oversized beard reaching their waist. In 1984, the Gillette company offered them the sum of one million dollars to appear in a commercial where they would shave. The two musicians categorically refused this offer, thus preserving their iconic look.
