ZZ Top played their first concert for a single spectator

The first concert of ZZ Top was held on February 10, 1970 in Beaumont, Texas, in front of a single spectator. The band had just recruited bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard to complete its lineup with guitarist Billy Gibbons. This lack of success marked the beginnings of the trio's definitive composition before it released its first album in 1971.
