Yosemite Park supplies water to San Francisco

The Hetch Hetchy reservoir is a storage lake located in the northwest of Yosemite Park. This body of water directly supplies the San Francisco metropolitan area with drinking water. This infrastructure is found among the many lakes and watercourses recorded within the park boundaries.
