A civilization of mineral creatures almost replaced humanity

The Xipéhuz are intelligent mineral creatures that appeared in the Neolithic period in the forest of Kzour. These beings without a fixed shape eliminate humans and birds using deadly rays emitted by a star located at their base. They reproduce four times a year in groups of three, to give birth to newborns that then shrink to become adults.
