George Lucas was David Fincher's neighbor

David Fincher, the American director born in 1962, spent part of his childhood in San Anselmo, California. During this period, he lived in the immediate vicinity of filmmaker George Lucas. It was also at this age that he began to make his own films with an 8 mm camera, after having discovered the filming of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
