The bedside book of General de Gaulle

The novel La Fin d'Illa by José Moselli was among the favorite readings of General de Gaulle. This preference was explained by the very refined style of the author. Published for the first time in 1925 in the magazine Sciences et Voyages, the text was also translated into English in 2011.
