A people made dependent to be subjugated

La Fin d'Illa is a novel by José Moselli describing a totalitarian regime based on technological control. The tyrant Rair subjugates the population there by creating blood machines essential to their nutritional survival. No longer able to consume solid food, the inhabitants thus blindly support the dictator's destructive projects.
