A civilization nourished by waves and blood

La Fin d'Illa is a science fiction novel describing a technologically very advanced civilization whose inhabitants feed exclusively on waves. This invisible diet is produced by machines initially operating with the blood of pigs and monkeys. Rair, the Illian leader and inventor, subsequently perfected these devices by incorporating human blood into them to extend life expectancy by one century.
