A musical cooking competition exists in Lorient

Kitchen music is a humorous competition organized as part of the Festival interceltique de Lorient. Since the year 2000, it has pitted about ten musicians from different countries against each other. This unusual contest is added to the traditional bagpipe, dance, and gouren events that punctuate the event.
