The Ferrari F50 GT is a racing car whose project was totally cancelled by the manufacturer despite a development completed by Dallara. The brand never provided an official explanation for this sudden stop, even though the racing season was supposed to begin in 1997. Only three units were finally produced, the two models sold to clients having been sold with the written prohibition of entering them in competition.
