Alain Prost earned up to 10 million dollars at Ferrari

Alain Prost extended his contract with Ferrari before the start of the 1991 Formula 1 season. His annual salary was then estimated between 9 and 10 million dollars and paid by the main sponsor, Marlboro. This extension was granted by the president of Fiat, Piero Fusaro, to try to calm the ambitions of the driver who was seeking to place Jean Sage at the head of the sports management.
