The best-selling Ferrari of its time was a four-seater

The Ferrari 250 GTE is a sports car launched in 1960 that inaugurated the range of four-seater coupes for the Italian manufacturer. Despite the mistrust of purists, the model enjoyed immense commercial success thanks to its V12 engine developing 240 horsepower. It thus became the most widely distributed Ferrari of its time, accounting on its own with its successor for more than half of the firm's total production.
