A Ferrari named after its successive coachbuilders
The Ferrari 250 GT Boano/Ellena is an automobile produced starting in 1956 to offer a more civilized version of the previous models. Mario Boano dressed the first chassis before handing his company over to his associate Luciano Pollo and his son-in-law Ezio Ellena to join Fiat in 1957. The new owners slightly modified the line of the remaining vehicles, which were from then on renamed Ellena and produced in 49 units alongside the 75 Boano versions.
