An artist financed his in-laws with his scholarship

Adrien de Witte lived with his partner, his mother-in-law and his brothers-in-law during his stay in Rome. He provided for the needs of this precarious household by redistributing his entire monthly allowance to them. This aid came directly from his Lambert Darchis foundation scholarship amounting to 125 francs.
