An embryo bank saves the Fauve de Bourgogne rabbit

The Fauve de Bourgogne is a rabbit breed recognized for its meat qualities and hardiness. To protect this species against a potential extinction, embryos and semen are being preserved by freezing. This preservation program is conducted jointly by the Fédération Française de Cuniculiculture and the INRA.
