Fantasy borrows its music from Tom Tom Club

Fantasy is a pop and RnB song by Mariah Carey released with a sample of the track Genius of Love. This musical borrowing forces the members of the band Tom Tom Club, namely Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, Steven Stanley and Adrian Belew, to be credited as authors. Bill Lamb from About.com praises the use of this sample which makes the track irresistible.
