The great Tbourida cavalry army in Morocco

Tbourida is a Moroccan equestrian and military tradition inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list since December 2021. This lively practice currently mobilizes nearly 1,000 troupes, also called sorbas, bringing together approximately 15,000 horses. Their organization is supervised by the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Sports Federation, which notably founded the Dar Es-Salam Royal Equestrian and Tbourida Sports Complex in 2008.
