The United States thanks French military doctors

The Centers for Disease Control came to honor French military doctors on October 22, 1992 at the Pharo school. This tribute recognized their active participation in the global smallpox eradication program in tropical Africa. On this occasion, the director of the American agency William L Roper presented a commemorative plaque highlighting the work of figures such as Pierre Richet and René Labusquière.
