The military Bioforce conducted 26 international health missions

The military Bioforce is an emergency response structure for epidemic crises. Created in 1983 under the impetus of Doctor Charles Mérieux, it brings together French ministries and industrial health actors. Between 1985 and 1999, its personnel accomplished 26 missions in Africa, Latin America and the Balkans to counter scourges like cholera or yellow fever.
