The White March shook Belgium

The White March is a historic citizen mobilization that brought together more than 350,000 people in Brussels on October 20, 1996. This immense gathering was caused by the emotion surrounding the disappearances of young girls and the discovery of serious police and judicial malfunctions. The event forced the State to carry out deep reforms and led to the creation in 1998 of the Child Focus foundation.
