The Trophée des champions eliminates extra time

The Trophée des champions is a single match pitting the champion of France against the winner of the Coupe de France. Since 1995, both teams go directly to a penalty shootout in the event of a draw at the end of regulation time. This rule applies without going through a period of extra time.
