An antisemitic and homophobic jab is hidden in a Beatles song

Brian Epstein, the manager of the Beatles, was likely the rich man keeping his money in a paper bag mentioned in the song Baby, You're a Rich Man. On one take of the recording, John Lennon changed the lyrics to call him a rich kike, which he later described as a simple familiar joke.
