Nelson Mandela visited the village of the worst apartheid laws

Orania is an ultra-conservative Afrikaner village where Black people are not allowed to live. Nelson Mandela went there to meet the widow of Hendrik Verwoerd, who was the creator of the most unjust laws of apartheid. This visit provoked sharp criticism within his own party, the ANC, just like his support for the Springboks during the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
