The first game console was covered in wood

The Brown Box is the seventh prototype of the very first video game console, completed in January 1969. This name was given to it because of the wood-grain adhesive coating used to cover the system's boxes. This successful design made it possible to convince the company Magnavox to sign a production agreement in January 1971.
