Madonna had her first album remixed by her boyfriend

Madonna's first album, released in 1983, almost did not see the light of day in its initial form due to an artistic disagreement. The singer did not like the methods of Reggie Lucas, the Warner Records producer chosen for the recording. She therefore called upon her then-boyfriend, John Benitez, to remix the tracks and complete the record.
