Madonna makes nuns dance around crosses

Madonna is an artist strongly influenced by Catholic imagery throughout her career. During the Rebel Heart Tour, she incorporates a provocative staging where Catholic nuns in underwear pole dance around cross-shaped bars. This performance blends the song Holy Water with religious symbols that she has used since her beginnings.
