A two-day transfer and kidnapping theories

In 1892, the English Football Association records the arrival of player John William Madden at the Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. He spends however only two days training at this club before returning to the Celtic. Various rumors attempt to explain this quick return, ranging from a simple salary increase to a crooked kidnapping under influence.
