Juan Manuel Fangio started on a modified Ford T

Juan Manuel Fangio was met by the Italian driver Achille Varzi in 1947 during the Copa Acción de San Lorenzo. The future South American champion was driving at that time a Ford T chassis powered by a Chevrolet inline six-cylinder engine. During this race won by Varzi, Fangio finished sixth and last classified among the competitors who reached the end of the event.
